This was a wonderful experience, I learned so much more about skincare and K-beauty than I could on my own, and I left with great products I'd made myself. I'd heard that Koreans who really care about skincare don't buy the big brand names we know of in the states, but instead purchase from spas or dermatologists or make their own products. This was a glimpse into that world. We learned about how to read ingredient labels on products, what to look for and what to avoid, and mixed custom formulas for ourselves using quality ingredients. Some of the plant extracts we used are indigenous to Asia and less common in western products, so I think the formulas we ended up with are uniquely Korean. My only concern now is what I will do if the toner and serum works great and I want to get a refill!
